The Benefits of Choosing AN Orthodontist

Did you know that all orthodontists are dentists, but not all dentists are orthodontists? To become an orthodontist, a dentist must attend an additional 2-3 years of school at an accredited residency program to learn about occlusion, facial harmony, and the biomechanics required to safely move teeth.

With so many dental offices offering Invisalign ® and promising braces in half the time, it’s important to understand what makes an orthodontist different from a general dentist. When choosing a treatment designed to straighten your teeth or improve your bite, trust a certified orthodontic specialist to get the job done safely and efficiently
